Annie Twilloil is a member of the Cornley Drama Society. She started off as the Stage Manager for the society, having done all the technical aspects of production by herself up until The Murder At Haversham Manor, where she discovered her own love for acting. Her first proper role with the society was in Peter Pan.
Personality[]
Annie is a quiet pushover, often struggling to keep the Cornley Drama Society's productions running as best she can while everything falls apart. In "The Murder At Haversham Manor" she is working as a member of the backstage crew who is thrown into acting when Sandra is injured during the performance. When Sandra recovers from bing knocked out she returns to the stage but Annie is reluctant to hand back the role and competes with Sandra as they both try to play the role. After becoming a member, she is more outgoing, becoming one of the better actors in the society quickly, being one of the few who doesn't tend to break character unless something really goes amiss. In "The Cornley Drama Festival Part 2", Annie is also shown to be quite skilled as a one-man band, as during Sandra's performance, she performed all of the musical instruments played and did so quite well.
In "Peter Pan" she is now one of the Society's actors where she plays multiple roles during the performance - such as Mrs Darling, Liza the maid, Tiger Lily, Tinkerbelle, and a pirate - indeed all the female roles except Wendy and Nana the dog. She is a decent actress whoes acts well and never has a problem remembering her lines. She also a decent singer, getting a solo song during Peter Pan though her singing is unfortunately drowned out by the sound of the crew cutting Robert free from the door he's stuck in. Whilst not as blatant as Sandra, she is known to play up the characters sexyness such as when she's playing Tinkerbell. She is also the society's only first aider in that production.
In "The Pilot" (not the Pilot) she is once again required to stand in at short notice when Chris's father Raymond fails to turn up in time to play Wing Commander Wycombe. This is the first of many male roles she undertakes.

Relationships[]
Sandra Wilkinson[]
During The Murder at Haversham Manor, Sandra and Annie fought over the role of Florence Colleymore, but they seemingly make up afterwards. Sandra forgave Annie for kissing Jonathan during Peter Pan, saying that it was not her fault, and that Jonathan was the one with a girlfriend. She is seen talking to Annie about her and Max's relationship in the clip from Dennis' birthday party. In The Cornley Drama Festival Part 1, Sandra and Annie are seen talking to each other about Chris' ballet.
Trevor Watson[]
They both started out as part of the backstage crew for the society, and have been shown together in several promotional shots. They seem to be friends, with Trevor being nicer to her than most of the other cast members.
Dennis Tyde[]
Annie seems to have a soft spot for Dennis, as in A Christmas Carol, she helps place cue cards for him all over the set.
Robert Grove[]
In "The Cornley Drama Festival Part 1" Robert runs an acting class where he lines up the rest of the Society's actors from best to worst based on their acting skills. He put Annie at number six which is the area where he puts people he refers to as the "Sub actors" but flips her sign round to read 9 when she reads out the line.
Max Bennett[]
While the two rarely act directly opposite each other as characters (small roles as a married couple in "Spirit of Christmas",) they appear to have one of the friendliest and least dysfunctional relationships in the company. Occasionally they are seen fist-bumping each other during shots. Unlike their castmates, they both seem to have an appreciation for the sheer ridiculousness of what they do, and when things do go wrong they are the only ones who seem to accept it and roll with the punches.
