Lucy Grove is a member of Cornley Drama Society, portrayed by Ellie Morris. She is Robert Grove's niece. She appears in Peter Pan Goes Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.
Lucy suffers terribly from stage fright and only appears in Peter Pan , as the Lost Boy Tootles, after being forced to by her uncle Robert. When she first appears on stage, she's too frightened to talk and Robert is forced to say her lines for her from off stage. Robert gets fed up with having to feed her lines and thumps the tree she is standing under causing a branch to fall and hit her breaking her leg.
Even with a broken leg and on crutches, Lucy still attempts to take part in the show's song "World of Make Believe" as one of the backup dancers but she is further injured. These new injuries are due to the choreography not being changed resulting in Annie trying to get a piggyback and two other dances picking her up and dropping her. She then spends much of the time in a wheelchair, and has yet another accident when it runs away, but is able to save the day, first after Annie is electrocuted, and later when David Suchet is knocked unconscious before he can deliver the final narration.
This seems to cure her stage fright as she appears to play Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol", but is knocked out during one of Robert's attempts to incapacitate Chris, though she does return to deliver the last line. She has a non speaking role as a jury member in "A Trial to Watch".
She reappears in "There Is No Escape" where she has a larger speaking role, playing Olivia, the daughter for one of the prisoners. (This, her first named female role in any performance, is the only female character in the play). In this performance she is able to say all her lines without stammering this time. Her character talks to her father over the phone but her performance is hampered due to Robert crouching next to her giving her acting advice. In the episode Robert mentions sad events in her life to prompt her to better protray emotions such as when he ran over her pet and her parents' divorce.
Lucy's exact age is never stated but she is said to be Robert's niece even though there isn't a huge age gap between Ellie Morris and Henry Lewis (Robert). We also see Robert's sister briefly in "A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong", and she is a similar age to Robert. Lucy shares a surname with Robert, suggesting that either Lucy is using her mother's maiden name after her parents' divorce, or that Lucy is the daughter of an older brother of Robert.

Robert Grove[]
In her first appearances Lucy suffers from stage fright and is portayed as being unsure of her self. It is impilied that it was Robert, her uncle, with talked her into acting with Cornley Drama Society even though she is clearly nervous. In the backroom scence at the start of Peter Pan we see Robert trying to coach Lucy into being able to speak her lines but becomes frustrated when she can't and tells her she's going to ruin Christmas. During the play she stammers her lines with Robert just off stage saying her lines for her. He gets frustated with her repeatingly stammering and thumps the plot tree she's standing under which causes a part to break off and to fall on her. he also tries to discourage Lucy from delivering the line "I believe in fairies" to try to revive Tinkerbell (Annie, who is really unconscious - electrocuted by an extreme "wardrobe malfunction" - rather than just acting)
Later on, though, he appears to be more protective of his niece, questioning Chris's instruction (as Captain Hook) to make Tootles (Lucy, who is by now in a wheelchair) the first to walk the plank.
In "The Cornley Drama Festival Part 1" Robert runs an acting class where he lines up the rest of the Society's actors from best to worst based on their acting skills. Lucy doesn't appear in the episode and therefore isn't ranked along side the other, but if she was Robert would have probably placed her in the sub actors area as he still feels he needs to coach her during "There Is No Escape".
Max Bennett[]
Max and Lucy are portrayed as having simular personalities with them both being sweet and innocent. During Peter Pan, Lucy starts a "I believe in fairies" chant when Annie is injured and Max is the first one to take up the chant along with her.
Chris Bean[]
At the beginning of "There Is No Escape" Chris is doing his opening introduction and introduces that Lucy is going to be in that weeks show when Robert hands him a card apologising in advance for for Lucy's subpar acting. Chris stands up for her calling Robert's card mean.
