Robert Grove's sister refers to Robert Grove's yet unnamed sister who appears briefly in "A Christmas Carol" when Cornley Drama Society take over a BBC production. It is never stated how she is related to Lucy Grove, she could be her mother or an aunt - the latter is more likely as Lucy and Robert share a surname and we learn (in "No Escape") that Lucy's parents had been married at some time in the past, so Lucy would be expected to have her father's surname.
Character history[]
During the play the Green screen software they are using fails and instead plays a video of Dennis's party where Chris Bean is shown kissing a woman we only see from the back. Due to her style of hair and that she is wearing the same dress Sandra was seen wearing in another clip of the same party, the cast think that the women is Sandra and that she's cheating on Max Bennett. In the footage Chris is seen bad mouthing the other members of the Society and seems ready to leave them for a new career, and a new life with her. "We'll never have to work with this bunch of freaks again"
A later clip shows Sandra walking up to Chris and the woman, revealing that they are wearing identical dresses (although we now see that she is noticeably taller than Sandra). Robert then recognises her as his sister.
